The fruit is round, with an average single fruit weight of 20.4 grams. When fully ripe, it is purple-black, shiny, and has obvious longitudinal grooves. The core is slightly larger, and the edible rate is 90.6%. The flesh is round and blunt, the flesh is soft, and there is a lot of juice. It contains 11.5% soluble solids and 0.88% total acid. The quality is excellent; it matures in late July in Wenling, Zhejiang.The ripening period of Black Crystal is basically the same as that of Dongkui. When ripe, the fruit is black and shiny.
